Friday Night Liberty has ‘creative twist’ Dec. 4  Liberty Station will play host to the December installment of Friday Night Liberty Open Studios on Friday, Dec. 4, beginning at 5 p.m. The theme of the event this month is “Holiday Gifts with a Creative Twist” — allowing participants to explore and wander the NTC Promenade arts and cultural district to enjoy a free evening of art, music, food, drink, exhibits and an array of holiday gifts and idea.   The event will include child-friendly activities and U.S. Marines will host a Toys for Tots collection drive at Barracks 19, 2690 Historic Decatur Road, to accept drop-offs of unwrapped toys. Friday Night Liberty is a monthly first-Friday evening of artist studios, galleries and events throughout NTC Promenade Arts & Cultural District at Liberty Station in Point Loma.   NTC Promenade is located in 7 historic buildings at Roosevelt and Dewey Roads. For more information, visit www.NTCPromenade.com/what.php The next Friday Night Liberty will be held Jan. 8.
