Acclaimed pianist Joshua White will be the featured performer at this month’s Fourth Friday Jazz Series, being held on April 26 at the La Jolla Community Center.
The night’s program will feature music from two legendary tunesmiths, composer Richard Rodgers and lyricist Lorenz Hart White, highlighted by White’s improvisational passages. With more than 500 songs in their catalog — including such evergreen hits as “Blue Moon” and “My Funny Valentine” — set list possibilities are nearly endless. Whether you’re a fan of jazz, classical or simply enjoy the music of the Great American Songbook, this concert from Joshua White promises to be something truly special.
