Phenomenal performers in their own right, when acoustic guitarists Fred Benedetti and George Svoboda perform as a duo it is truly something special. The pair, which appears at the Pacific Beach/Taylor Branch Library on April 13, has released four albums and has toured the world in their two decades of teaming up, appearing on countless others’ recordings as well. Whether you prefer classical or flamenco, Latin or Middle Eastern sounds, Benedetti and Svoboda are true masters of the six-string guitar.
