A community-involved mural project at 7596 Eads Ave. invited 1,000 participants to pick their favorite colors to be painted on the wall Dec. 18. The event, sponsored by the La Jolla Community Foundation, kicked off Dec. 18 and let community members paint part of the wall in no particular order on a first-come-first-served basis.
