The San Diego City Council and San Diego County Board of Supervisors declared a local state of emergency Tuesday after assessing widespread damage from a series of sometimes-intense storms that funneled merciless rain and punishing winds across the Peninsula between Dec. 18 and Dec. 22. Here is a look at the punch delivered by the storms, as captured by photographers around the Peninsula.
