Monster Bash party on Halloween in Gaslamp Quarter

Enter a world of immorality at the 15th annual Dos XX Monster Bash presented by Sailor Jerry where haunted souls can run wild, rules can be broken and sinners can live freely on Halloween from 6 p.m. to midnight. San Diego’s biggest Halloween block party returns and will be unleashed on the Gaslamp Quarter and East Village neighborhoods transforming more than eight city blocks into the largest Halloween event in California.
Be prepared to experience five of the most insane stages and freaky areas that will test your boundaries and transport you to worlds beyond your imagination. Allow your temptations to take over and your sinister soul to be set free as you party with Satan in the Devil’s Playground. Lucifer and his cohort’s secret has been unlocked and the true rave that some call hell has been opened up for one night for Monster Bash. Share a drink or get your twerk on with the most evil of souls in this sinful land. No judgements will be passed as this is a place where fire is magical, sin is delicious and transgressions are celebrated.
Torture your mind with circus oddities in the Freak Show as bearded ladies and the creepiest of clowns run wild. The women will be sexy but don’t overlook their third breast or second head and be careful of the men who might really be a Lobster Man or living skeleton.
Dance in the Dollhouse amongst your creepiest childhood nightmares. Cracked faces and deep pitted eyes will track your every move as you travel through this twisted land of porcelain horror. The walls of 7th Avenue will appear like the run down walls of a Victorian house, an oversized LED doll face will play from the stage and life size dolls will mount stilts to haunt you overhead for the years you tortured them in your youth. Relish in the lustful mystery in the renowned Dos XX Masquerade where corseted mystery dancers will sway to the beats and masks will provide a disguise for the night so that secrets remain secrets and indiscretions will never be known.
Venture to the end of the world with all things undead in the VIP Zombie Apocalypse with abandoned vehicles aflame and flesh eating savages attacking you from every dark corner. The end of the earth will near closer and closer as the DJ hypes the crowd and the masses turn ravenous. Partygoers can upgrade their supernatural experience by purchasing a VIP ticket, which includes VIP entrance, VIP restroom access, a separate lounge area, and four complimentary drinks from your own VIP lounge bar.
This Halloween extravaganza will feature over 20 top DJs from San Diego and across the nation in all five areas and allow you to surrender your inhibitions all night long. This year’s lineup boasts the well-known Stafford Brothers, Ghastly, Carter Cruise, SNBRN, B and Chase, Graham Funke, Fauks, Groy, Von Kiss, Schoeny, Chris Cutz, DJ Ramsey, Jared F, Deejay O, DJ D-Lo, DJ Angle, DJ Billy the Kid and more being announced daily.
This is the one night a year that you can be a zombie, a murderous villain or a gigantic stuffed teddy bear without judgment – so don’t hold back! In fact, start planning your costume now for the notorious Monster Bash costume contest featuring an insane $5,000 cash prize. This is the largest cash prize for a costume contest in San Diego. General admission tickets to San Diego’s most sought after Halloween party are $40 through Oct. 17, $50 through Oct. 30 and $60 at the door on Halloween night. VIP tickets are $80 through Oct. 17, $90 through Oct. 30
and $100 at the door. Your Monster Bash wristband also gets you food and drink specials and free cover at over 20 different participating restaurants and bars in the Gaslamp Quarter and East Village. You must be 21-plus and have a valid photo ID to enter. For more ticket or event information, visit SanDiegoMonsterBash.com.
