Location: Community Room Description: In collaboration with All Girls STEM Society, Mission Valley Library presents a fun physics workshop. Is the moon’s gravity the same as ours on earth? How are displacement, velocity, acceleration, and force related? Join us to explore the physics behind motion, force, and gravity. You’ll get the chance to build experiments to measure the acceleration due to gravity and win cute prizes through trivia! This workshop is recommended for girls in Grades 5-8 (ages 9-14). Location: Community Room Description: A new generation of farming robots is on its way to help farmers around the world and ensure we have quality fruits and vegetables for everyone. Join our Force and build an Arduino-based Spider Robot using bricks, gears, axles, motors, sensors, and controllers and then accept the challenge to help your Spider to collect the fruit and bring it to the fruit baskets at our “Let’s Grow Marketplace”.
