Mike Hess Brewing Ocean Beach, at 4893 Voltaire St., will showcase local business, K-Dub’s Beach Rentals, at its monthly “07” party 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 7. Mike Hess holds this party once a month to help get the word out about local businesses and artists. Dubbed the “07” party for the 92107 location, it will be held on the 7th of each month where guest may enjoy 20 percent off their tab, local business information, artwork showcases and sometimes food vendors and special beer releases. Drew Lopez, tasting room manager at MHB Ocean Beach, approached K-Dub’s Beach Rentals – a new, locally owned and operated beach gear delivery service – offering to host and bring awareness to local offerings that might not normally be noticed by the locals. “As the weather continues to warm up, I think it would be a perfect opportunity to put the bug in peoples’ heads now about the services you guys offer,” Lopez said.
