Commercial real estate brokerage Location Matters recently completed a lease by Social Syndicate, a San Diego-based mulit-concept restaurant group, for the space located at 1852 Bacon St. in Ocean Beach. The freestanding building was previously occupied by Nati’s Mexican Restaurant for nearly 60 years before leasing to Social Syndicate, which will pay homage to Nati’s by putting a brand new Mexican concept in the space. This property is owned by Nati’s Inc. and controlled by Foley Development, who plans to develop the land directly behind the restaurant into a large apartment development. Mike Spilky of Location Matters represented the landlord and tenant in this transaction. A new 10-year lease valued at $2.41 million was signed for this corner restaurant location. Social Syndicate will occupy 2,660-square-feet, with an additional 1,468-square-feet of patio space.
