A 27-year-old male was driving his vehicle westbound in the 1300 block of Law Street on Wednesday, Aug. 9. The male swerved into the eastbound lanes and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle crashed into a parked vehicle and then hit a light pole. The vehicle was occupied by two passengers. One of the passengers, a 22-year-old male, sustained a severed thumb on his right hand. He was transported to the hospital. Traffic Division responded to the scene and is handling the investigation.
