UNIVERSITY CITY — A 20-year-old man who was in the La Jolla Marriott, 4240 La Jolla Village Drive, jumped from the 15th floor of the hotel Saturday, Oct. 2, and landed on a lower roof of the hotel, according to a report from the San Diego Police Department (SDPD). He was found dead at about 2:13 p.m. The SDPD Northern Division is handling the investigation.
