LA JOLLA — Robbery detectives are investigating an armed hold-up that took place Thursday afternoon at Dick’s Liquor Store, located at 737 Pearl St. Police said a Hispanic male in his 20s entered the liquor store, presented a handgun and demanded cash. He was described as having a medium build and was wearing a gray hoodie and black pants. He was seen leaving in a vehicle in an unknown direction. The vehicle is described as possibly a Ford or American-made car. The loss is unknown and no further details are being provided at this time.
