LMCC hosting Salute to Local Heroes dinner Oct. 5

The La Mesa Chamber of Commerce announces their 14th annual Salute to Local Heroes dinner. This special night entitled “Top Hat & Tails” is an event of fun and celebration and being held on Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. at Sycuan Casino Resort, 5469 Casino Way (Wachena Ballroom), El Cajon.

This event celebrates the strength of the community and honors eight local heroes that serve the community. This evening is our opportunity to come together and honor those dedicated to La Mesa citizens and the entire community. These heroes are from law enforcement, the fire district, paramedic field, and the retired senior volunteer patrol.

This year’s heroes to be honored are American Medical Response -Paramedic Ruth Jewel Hamilton Wilson, EMT Dylan Lieto and EMT Brenda Winkle, Heartland Fire & Rescue –Fire Captain Dave Hardenburger, Fire Engineer Steve Harris and Firefighter Seth Perrins, La Mesa Police Department –Detective Justin Bourque and La Mesa Police Department Retired SeniorVolunteer Patrol –Mike Boatright.

The Chamber is grateful to the sponsors who make this evening possible. To date we thank our Title Sponsor -Sycuan Casino Resort and Presenting Sponsors –EDCO and AMR. The event is open to the entire community with an individual ticket price of $95, two tickets for $170 and a table of eight tickets for $640.
