The La Jolla Festival of Arts will move to downtown San Diego for its 30th annual edition, organizers announced Oct. 29.
The festival will take place June 11 and 12 of 2016 at the Waterfront Park outside the County Administration Center.
Plans call for 200 established and emerging artists to showcase their work in painting, sculpture, photography, glass, jewelry, ceramics, wood, fiber and mixed media.
The festival, which benefits sports and recreation programs for San Diegans with disabilities, also will feature live music and entertainment, a craft beer garden and offerings from some of San Diego’s top restaurants.
Organizers said the theme will be “Experience Paradise.”
The festival usually is held in the Village.
