The result is songs not too far removed from Jack Johnson or Jason Mraz, though with a wildly infectious reggae beat to match J Boog’s sweet vocals. Comprised of Tom Gates on steel drums and Preacher Patterson on various percussion instruments, the duo performs Caribbean-flavored music using authentic instruments from countries of that region.
