The La Jolla Executive Roundtable – a group of 55 CEOs, owners and senior management of San Diego-based companies – will host a moderated debate between District 1 City Council candidates incumbent Sherri Lightner and challenger Ray Ellis at the La Jolla Recreation Center on Wednesday, Oct. 10. Community leader Joe LaCava, president of the Community Planners Committee and vice president of the La Jolla Community Planning Association, will moderate the event, which is free and open to anyone in the community who is interested in learning more about each candidate and his or her priorities for the district, which includes La Jolla.
