I want to thank you for writing such a kind, beautiful and generous article about my retirement and years of service to Tifereth Israel Synagogue. I was also surprised and pleased to find it placed so prominently on the front page.

I deeply appreciate the time you took interviewing and meeting with me and members of my community. I also loved the photos you included. Your article truly reflected my thoughts about my tenure at the congregation and the work that I do. Many members of my congregation, community and neighborhood saw it and told me that they had a greater appreciation of the work that I do because of your research.

My children all asked for copies of the article and I was happy to provide them for friends and family who live in my neighborhood. We will always treasure them.

Thanks again for spending so much time making sure the article was perfect. I am deeply in your debt. If there is ever any way in which I can be of assistance to you, I hope that you will not hesitate to ask.
