Their telephone number is (619) 400-2799. —Carlton Nettleton, Mission Beach Precise Planning Board Funds for the wrong cause Isn’t it interesting that our Councilman, Mr. (Kevin) Faulconer, can generate $21,000 from the General Fund for tsunami evacuation signage (per the article in the 1/21 issue of Beach & Bay Press), an event that is highly unlikely to occur, that the city can find $59,000 to fund signage proscribing the destruction of our streets by using them as used car lots BUT they cannot find $22,500 for signage to stop the visual pollution caused by our streets being used for overnight RV storage and waste water dumping, a daily occurrence most pronounced in the warmer weather, even after just about a year has passed since Mr. Faulconer brought this matter to the full City Council for action? What is wrong with this misplaced sense of priority, especially after the PB Town Council and the PB Planning Group have written Mr. Faulconer letters asking that action be taken sooner than later? —Lou Cumming, Pacific Beach
