More on Chopin Festival Thank you to Charlene Baldridge for highlighting this year’s Chopin Festival and the recent concert by Garrick Ohlsson (“Ohlsson celebrates Chopin at Sherwood,” Jan. 21, page 1). As a fan of San Diego Youth Symphony, I want to add to what Ms. Baldridge wrote about the upcoming festival events. San Diego’s own Gustavo Romero will be performing the two earliest Chopin works for piano and orchestra with the San Diego Youth Symphony on June 12 at Copley Symphony Hall. I encourage people that have never heard these students in concert to come and marvel at their amazing talent under the leadership of their conductor Jeff Edmons. You’ll love the performance!
