There are many works of art on utility boxes in the Ocean Beach area — all done with volunteer time by artists. It would be terrific if someone who is experienced with creating colors on the palette would come forward and, as a community service, over time repair the graffiti/tags that vandals have put on these paintings. I and others eradicate graffiti regularly but we are not experienced, nor have the equipment to do the basic art repair/paintover. Nor do we care to use chemical removers on the art.
