Colleen Connery, founder of her own San Diego graphic art studio, CoCo & Associates, and member of Le Tip Golden Triangle, was recently awarded the contract to design the Le Tip International promotional brochure. The project is now complete and is available to all of the Le Tip organizations in 23 states and in Canada as a tool for promoting Le Tip membership.
Ken Peterson, the founder of Le Tip organization, worked with Connery on the project.
“If you want to do business with a person who really knows what she’s doing, she would be the one to contact,” he said. “We put out one of the best brochures Le Tip International has ever produced.”
It will be available from members of the Golden Triangle Le Tip or at the meetings at Coco’s in Costa Verde each Tuesday at 7 a.m.
“We are thrilled about the brochure,” said Kim Marie Branch-Pettid, Le Tip president. “We printed 350,000 and are sending them out in bunches.”
Connery is the membership chair of Le Tip Golden Triangle. She can be reached through www.cocoassociates.com.
My Plumber latest business to join LeTip
Le Tip Golden Triangle continues to grow with the addition of two businesses that service all of San Diego County.
My Plumber is a business started in San Diego in 2000, modeled after a parent business by the same name in Northern Virginia and suburban Maryland. While the company headquarters is in Claremont Mesa, there are 15 My Plumber trucks and close to 30 employees based all over San Diego County ready to service their primary customers in accordance with their pledge, “Same-day service guaranteed or the visit is free.”
Mohammad Houshmandi, a plumbing supervisor, will be attending the Golden Triangle business meetings as company representative.
Franco Testa was a recent immigrant from Italy when he first worked for My Plumber at its East Coast operation. After moving to San Diego, he was asked by his former employers to start My Plumber”San Diego, LLC. His company retains the original My Plumber mission statement: “… to be responsive to our clients’ needs ” this is to be done diligently, quickly and honestly with the highest regard for customer satisfaction.”
Testa believes in business networking and belongs to the Greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce as well as several other chamber groups.
“We have already received a number of business leads through Le Tip and have been able to pass on tips to other members,” he said.
A list of service locations is on the Web site www.mypl-umber.com, so anyone can find a truck and a plumber close by.
