MUST HEAR Singer-songwriter fans won’t want to miss Nashville Comes to La Jolla, a special concert taking place on Jan. 4 at the La Jolla Lutheran Church. On hand will be tunesmiths Steve Seskin, Craig Carothers and Grammy winner Don Henry, collectively responsible for writing a sizeable portion of the country music Top 40 parade in recent years, including hits from Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney, as well as standards for the likes of Ray Charles and Patti Page. The trio will play their best tunes, as well as share the stories behind the songs and give an insight into the magic that goes into writing a hit song.
