His line of Windansea wines – including a 2009 Sunset Red, 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2011 Great White – pays homage to the quaint La Jolla beach area best known for its rocky shoreline, gorgeous sunsets and reef break surf sets. On May 12, Haskins will act as sommelier as he pours and discusses his wines at the La Jolla Community Center’s Jazz Concert & Windansea Wine Tasting starting at 6 p.m. Following the wine tasting, award-winning flutist Lori Bell will entertain guests with a jazz concert featuring her highly acclaimed original compositions starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the wine tasting and concert are $35 for members, $40 for nonmembers, and $45 at the door.
