The La Jolla Concours d’Elegance presented by LPL Financial and Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty celebrates its 16th year of automotive excellence with a weekend of exclusive events April 22-24. The La Jolla Concours is a unique blend of automotive history, art, and revelry that culminate in one weekend. The event attracts automobile enthusiasts from around the world who come together over the shared interest and passion for the “moving sculptures” that are to be displayed on the grassy cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
This year, guests can anticipate more than 150 stunning cars within a wide range of judging categories competing for prestigious titles and automotive infamy. The honored marque of this year’s showcase is Bugatti.
April 22, 5:30-9 p.m.: Explore the best of the La Jolla village at the inaugural La Jolla Concours Ferrari Friday on Prospect Street, presented by Pacific Sotheby’s. This free event includes live music, gallery receptions, retail specials, specialty dining and cocktail menus, and of course Ferraris. Prospect Street will be lined with 75 Ferraris.
April 23, 7 a.m.: The Tour d ‘Elegance is a classic automobile cruise where participants get to visit three rare car collections, San Diego’s scenery, spend the day with other car aficionados, and eat a lunch at the private La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club.
April 23, 5-9 p.m.: “Le Cabaret du Concours” soiree at The Lot La Jolla, 7611 Fay Ave. This year’s “Le Cabaret du Concours” will have live music, can-can dancers, a hosted bar of crafted cocktails, delicacies from The Lot, and a poet that will write you a love letter.
April 24, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.: La Jolla Concours d’Elegance automotive showcase at La Jolla Ellen Browning Scripps Park. View over 150 spectacular world-class automobiles displayed on the lawn along the Pacific Coast. Enjoy live music, indulge in the Champagne and Honey Tasting Garden, watch the vintage air show flyover, and more.
