In years past, kids have flooded the streets of Bird Rock to paint businesses’ windows for Halloween, but the event has died down. Brandie Sharpe, personal trainer and owner of Sharpe Fitness, located at 5701 La Jolla Blvd., is trying to revive the annual get-together — this year about 20 kids showed up.
