Owner/manager Adam Zack and the entire team at Jensens Market, located in Point Loma since 2016, have been awarded the Optimist Club of Point Loma’s most recent “Gratitude Award” at an Optimist fundraiser at the Point Loma Assembly, Thursday, Oct. 27.
This award recognized Jensens’ continued assistance in the Point Loma Optimists’ missions of supporting Peninsula youth, the local communities, and the Rosecrans flag program, through the store’s charity fundraising events on behalf of the Optimist Club and its nonprofit foundation. Jensens supports Point Loma Optimist gatherings and social events.
The Jensens staff has worked hard to provide excellent service over the years to support many other organizations’ charitable events, as well. It was with great gratitude that Zack and the Jensens team were recognized for all their efforts that have enhanced the mission successes of supporting Peninsula youth programs, and the hallmark camaraderie of the Point Loma Optimist Club since it was established 68 years ago.
