A white male suspect with a knife entered the Point Loma Inn and Suites at 2933 Fenelon St. in the Roseville/Fleet Ridge neighborhood. The suspect approached the employee and demanded money and keys to the Aqua Mar hotel, which the victim also worked at. The employee handed the suspect an unknown amount of money and keys. The victim called the owners of the hotel and then went to the Aqua Mar at 1510 Rosecrans St. to see if the suspect went there. The victim walked in and saw the suspect in the office trying to get into the register but it was locked. The victim punched the suspect in the shoulder. The suspect reached into his pocket and pulled a knife out and pointed it at the victim. The victim moved out of the way and the suspect left northbound through the hotel onto Hugo Street. The suspect was described as a white male in his early 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, muscular with light colored eyes. He was wearing a black hoodie pulled over his head, a red bandana on his face, dark pants and tennis shoes. He was also wearing black gloves. San Diego Police Western Division Detectives are investigating. Anyone with information related to the above incident is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
