A 60-year-old male adult was walking eastbound across the southbound lanes of 4000 Sports Arena Boulevard at 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 2. The male was crossing outside of a crosswalk and mid-block. A dark-colored Honda was driving southbound in the southbound-2 lane of Sports Arena Boulevard. The Honda struck the pedestrian and fled the scene. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital by paramedics. The male sustained a serious fracture to the lower right leg. The Honda was last seen continuing south on Sports Arena southbound.
