Mayor Kevin Faulconer will continue his “Meet the Mayor” series with a visit to his former City Council district on Tuesday, June 24 in Pacific Beach.
Council District 2 includes the communities of Point Loma, Ocean Beach, Midway, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, Bay Ho, Bay Park, Morena, West Linda Vista and West Clairemont. Faulconer will speak with San Diegans about his vision for the city and listen to concerns from the community. The events are free and open to the public. “The best way to run the city is to hear directly from the people you serve,” Faulconer said. “I want to talk with community leaders and everyday San Diegans about what the city can do to make their lives and neighborhoods better. I know how busy people are so I am taking the conversation to them.” Faulconer will hold at least one “Meet the Mayor” event in each City Council district over the coming months. The series will then continue regularly in neighborhoods throughout the city. Faulcomer will hold his District 2 meeting at Pacific Middle School, located at 4676 Ingraham St., at 5 p.m. in the upstairs media center on June 24, 2014.
