Some 600 Helix Charter High School students and their guests celebrated the school’s senior prom recently at the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla.
Students enjoyed watching the gorgeous sunset, dancing to their favorite music and karaoke singing and more. 
Wesley Epps and Sophia Noriega were crowned prom king and queen, respectively.
“Prom was an unforgettable night,” senior Jasmine Solorzano remarked.
