The Golden Triangle Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a new management structure. In addition to the current board of directors, the Chamber has established a variety of committees.
For anyone interested in becoming active in the Chamber, there will be service opportunities on the following committees: Ambassadors, Membership, Networking Breakfast, Business After Five Mixers, Networking Lunches, Marketing, Publicity, Management, Business Expo, Community Relations and Governmental Affairs.
The chairs of these committees will form a management committee that will advise and assist the board of directors.
Last month the Golden Triangle Chamber enjoyed a wonderful Business After Five Mixer at Venice Ristorante and Wine Bar. Approximately 40 attendees sampled delicious pasta, salads and bruschetta. Thanks to Venice for a wonderful evening.
For earlybirds: remember, the Chamber networking breakfasts are held every Thursday morning at 7:10 a.m. at the Bristol Farms Store and Restaurant in the Costa Verde Center. These breakfasts have become very popular. Attendance is free and open to members and nonmembers alike.
These informal networking breakfasts are offered as an alternative to the costly networking organizations that require perfect attendance and a highly structured format.
The “drop in when you can” format provides the opportunity and the flexibility for busy business people to fit networking into their dynamic schedules as time permits.
Meet and greet begins at 7:10, with a sit-down no-host breakfast from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. We hope you will join us soon. Bring a friend and plenty of business cards.
