Volunteers of America Southwest, in collaboration with Glenner Memory Care Centers, will present a one-time showing of “Glen Campbell… I’ll Be Me,” a documentary of country music star Glen Campbell’s farewell tour, at Arclight La Jolla on Tuesday, March 10, at 7 p.m. Campbell’s family was inspired to share the artist’s farewell after he was diagnosed in 2011 with Alzheimer’s disease. The resulting film is reportedly gaining attention amid its storyline, original music (featuring the Grammy-winning hit “I’m Not Going to Miss You”) and real-life exploration of the disease’s effect on patients and family. Campbell is 78. Volunteers of America Southwest provides aid to individuals, children and families in San Diego, Riverside, Imperial, San Bernardino and Orange counties.
