Friends and family of Ocean Beach resident Kristan Stephanie Wagner, 41, will gather at noon on Sunday, Dec. 7 for a special remembrance and tribute paddle in her honor. Wagner, whose body was discovered at the base of Sunset Cliffs on Sunday by a passerby, will be honored during the tribute at Sunset Cliffs between Carmelo and Ladera streets. The water entry for the tribute paddle will be at Ladera Street. A makeshift memorial has already been established along Sunset Cliffs above the site of the accidental fall. In addition to Sunday’s paddle and tribute, funeral services will be held for Wagner on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2540 San Diego Ave. in Old Town. A buffet will follow in the church hall. Flowers or a donation to the San Diego Zoo in Wagner’s memory are welcomed. For more information about the tribute and paddle, call (619) 224-2654.
