Former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice will speak at UC San Diego at 3 p.m., on Sept. 13 at UC San ‘Diego’s School of Global Policy and Strategy’s inaugural Global Leaders Forum. The goal of the forum is to bring top diplomats around the world and share their insights crafting some of ‘today’s most important international agreements and policies. The former secretary of state will kick-off the series with a talk on her new book, “To Build a Better World.” Rice is expected to share experiences from being the nation’s top diplomat and discuss how global policy actually gets created. The Global Leaders Forum is sponsored by the Center for Commerce and Diplomacy, which is based at UC San Diego’s School of Global Policy and Strategy. The center produces high-quality research that informs government and business leaders about the challenges and institutions of international commercial diplomacy in a changing world.
