LA JOLLA — The Bishop’s School has announced it will host the world-renowned rock band Foreigner for its annual “Say You Will” auction to be held April 16. The event will be held at the school’s campus at 7607 La Jolla Blvd. Proceeds from the event will go to the school’s financial aid program, which provides need-based scholarships, and the Faculty Professional Growth Program. Tickets will be available through the school’s website at www.bishops.com. Foreigner’s debut album “Foreigner” was released in March 1977 and sold more than four million copies in the United States. They stayed in the Billboard Top 20 for a year with such hits as “Feels Like the First Time” and “Cold as Ice.” They are also known for their hit songs “Urgent” (which includes a Junior Walker sax solo), “Waiting for a Girl Like You” and “Juke Box Hero.” — Claire Harlin
