All 33 San Diego County library branches have extended their hours – including the Fletcher Hills Library.

Supervisor Joel Anderson, whose district encompasses 15 County libraries, shared his excitement about the expansion of services: “Libraries bring our community together, especially in our East County cities and our unincorporated area. Our County libraries provide safe learning spaces, free internet, educational programs for our youth, and often act as a hub for important services like cool zones or polling places. I am thrilled to see our libraries becoming even more accessible to the public.”

San Diego County libraries are vital to the function of communities on many levels. For many residents, county libraries have become a dependable space to explore, connect, learn, teach, and create. Whether you are a student scanning the bookshelves, a parent looking for a safe and cool place for their child to learn and play, or a jobseeker needing computer access to fill out some applications, County libraries offer something for everyone.

San Diego County branches each have community-specific resources, programs and events available for all ages. The Fletcher Hills Library offers a program called Comfy Crafters, where fellow crafters get together, learn from each other, and have fun.

These new hours will not just expand library services, but also opportunities to learn and connect with your community.

Tuesday: 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Wednesday & Thursday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Friday & Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Sunday & Monday: Closed
