A truck knocked over a fire hydrant on the corner of Garnet Avenue and Kendall Street in Pacific Beach at about 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 25. Water flowed into SpeeDee Oil Change, which is located on that corner, down Garnet Avenue and Kendall Street causing puddles – with a particularly huge one at the intersection of Kendall and Hornblend streets. Police and public works were on the scene to work on repairs.
