The annual Bikes Boards and Brews was held in Catamaran Hotel On Sunday, April 24. The idea is to have local breweries present samples to patrons in the same place. Also, a lot of restaurants presented their quality food; great burgers, tacos, wings and tasty finger food. San Diego is known for its great beer. Here you are in a IPA wonderland and you can taste different flavors everyday. I tried Pizza Port’s IPA at the event and it was tasty. As you could assume from the name, it goes well with great pizza. Bikes Boards and Brews is definitely an event for whole Pacific Beach community. People get together, taste good beer and food, catch up with each other, compare beach bikes and buy some artwork from local artists. The coolest artwork at the event was a surfboard that was covered with pieces of mirror. Great idea and a beautiful ornament for a San Diego beach home. I also saw amazing old bike with a barrel on the back. The PC Bikes had it at their stand and it was a perfect attraction for people and it totally worked. Wouldn’t it be perfect to have a barrel with you while biking in PB?
