The City has released the City of La Mesa Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) <\/span><\/span><\/span>gramo<\/span><\/span><\/span>uidebook to assist single-family homeowners in adding an ADU to their property.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

El <\/span><\/span><\/span>gramo<\/span><\/span><\/span>uidebook is an easy-to-use resource that walks the reader through rules and regulations and the development processes to construct an ADU, including basic information on financing and how to select and work with building professionals. Design ideas are also provided, with sample layouts based on actual lots located in La Mesa and sample floor plans.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the <\/span><\/span><\/span>gramo<\/span><\/span><\/span>uidebook includes links to other resources for homeowners to understand ADUs as this type of development is often unfamiliar to property owners.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
