After an extensive recruitment process, Amanda Lee has been chosen for the assistant city manager position for the City of La Mesa. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Lee<\/span><\/span> comes to La Mesa after 10<\/span><\/span> years at the City of Vista, where she was in a similar position<\/span><\/span> for the past two<\/span><\/span> years. Lee provided direct supervision over homelessness<\/span><\/span> y<\/span><\/span> h<\/span><\/span>ousing, communications, code enforcement, climate action plan implementation, grants and governmental relations, and administrative support staff. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Lee has been serving as the acting city manager at Vista for the past six months where she was responsible for leading the City\u2019s Department Directors and Management Team. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In her role in Vista, Lee was also responsible for the development of Vista\u2019s Operating and Capital Improvement Project (CIP) budgets, assisting with City Council priority projects and City Council goals, and she served as the project manager for the $4 million renovation of Bub Williamson Park. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ella<\/span><\/span> holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree in public Administration and a Master\u2019s degree in public administration<\/span><\/span> from San Diego State University. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
