Join the City of La Mesa and I Love a Clean San Diego for a litter cleanup event in the La Mesa Downtown Village and Neighborhood on Saturday, April 8, 9 -11 <\/span><\/span><\/span>a.m<\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Participants will <\/span><\/span><\/span>begin the day<\/span><\/span><\/span> at the La Mesa City Hall parking <\/span><\/span><\/span>(8130 Allison Ave.)<\/span><\/span><\/span> lot to learn about keeping the community clean, recycling, then grab supplies and high visibility vests to help safely clean up around the La Mesa Downtown Village and Neighborhood. This is the first event as part of the new Litter Free La Mesa Series. Keep an eye out for more cleanup events coming to different neighborhoods in La Mesa throughout the year.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

S<\/span><\/span><\/span>taff will be set up with a check-in table at the<\/span><\/span><\/span> La Mesa City Hall parking lot<\/span><\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/span><\/span>After a 9 a.m. discussion <\/span><\/span><\/span>acerca de <\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00e1rea<\/span><\/span><\/span> watersheds and recycling right, <\/span><\/span><\/span>participants will<\/span><\/span><\/span> grab supplies and high visibility vests to help safely clean up around<\/span><\/span><\/span> the area.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We will sort and dispose of collected litter, and after the cleanup you can receive community service verification in your Community Hub dashboard.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Keep an eye out for more cleanup events coming up in <\/span><\/span><\/span>La Mesa<\/span><\/span><\/span>, as part of <\/span><\/span><\/span>a<\/span><\/span><\/span> new <\/span><\/span><\/span>Litter Free La Mesa Series.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This event requires a signed release-of-liability waiver for all volunteers, and anyone under 18 needs a waiver signed by a guardian. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
