The Mayors of San Diego and Lemon Grove, as well as all nine San Diego city councilmembers, announced their support for Fletcher earlier this month.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #202020;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">La Mesa Mayor Mark Arapostathis <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #202020;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">noted, <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #202020;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8220;Nathan Fletcher is ready to get to work for La Mesa. He\u2019s committed to protecting the quality of life for residents, protecting small businesses, investing in our schools and creating sustainable middle class jobs that can support La Mesa families. He&#8217;s been an excellent partner as County Supervisor and I look forward to what we can achieve together when he\u2019s our State Senator.&#8221;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #202020;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">La Mesa City Councilmember and Vice Mayor Colin Parent <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #202020;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">added, <\/span><\/span><\/span><em><span style=\"color: #202020;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u201c<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #202020;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Supervisor Nathan Fletcher has been a fierce advocate for a people-oriented and positive imagination of San Diego County\u2019s future. As Chair of MTS, he has shepherded important changes like improving frequency of public transit, and completing the Mid-Coast Trolley.
