As part of the City of La Mesa Community Relations and<\/span> Veterans Commission Livable La Mesa program, the Commission will be hosting a veterans resource fair on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 6 to 8 p.m. at the La Mesa Adult Enrichment Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

Representatives from the County of San Diego Office of Veterans Affairs and Health & Human Services<\/span> Agency will be on site, along with other veteran serving organizations, to share information on topics such as VA claims, mental health services, networking, and more. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cLa Mesa is home to over 4,000 veterans,<\/span>\u201d said La Mesa Community Relations and Veterans Commission Chairperson Dennis Sharp, \u201cWe look forward to bringing resources to La Mesa so they can learn about and understand available benefits.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Parking will be available at the Adult Enrichment Center parking lot on<\/span> University Avenue or across the street at MacArthur Park on Memorial Drive.<\/span><\/p>\n
