The California Note Catchers has a new director.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Kayla Rodgers became the interim director of the women\u2019s barbershop chorus in September. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The East County resident is the education coordinator of the San Diego Chorus. She received her Master\u2019s degree in music education with a choral emphasis from Vander Cook College of Music. She has many years of singing and orchestra experience.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The chorus has already performed several concerts under the direction of Rodgers. The California Note Catchers is planning a holiday show on Monday, Dec. 12, at the La Mesa United Methodist Church, 4690 Palm Ave. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
