Police on Sept. 13 are investigating the death of a woman in her 60s shot in Pacific Beach.<\/p>\n
San Diego Police officers responded to reports of shots fired and found bystanders attempting to help a woman suffering from at least one gunshot wound to her upper body near the beach on Mission Boulevard and Reed Avenue around 12:30 a.m.
\nPolice reported the victim, who was described as a 65-year-old Hispanic woman, was taken to a hospital where she died. Her name is being withheld during the investigation.<\/p>\n
No suspects have been identified and the details of the incident were not immediately clear. Police are calling the incident a \u201csuspicious death\u201d until more information can be found.
