Despu\u00e9s de una impresionante victoria por 4-1 sobre Parceiro Ladies para abrir la temporada regular de WPSL el s\u00e1bado pasado, los San Diego Strikers ahora se enfrentan a So Cal Union FC el domingo 29 de mayo en Mission Bay High School.<\/p>\n
El equipo a\u00fan no ha perdido desde que se uni\u00f3 a la WPSL en 2021, habiendo ganado todos los partidos que ha jugado hasta ahora durante las dos temporadas. En cuanto al pr\u00f3ximo oponente de los Strikers, So Cal Union FC, esta ser\u00e1 la primera vez que los dos equipos jueguen entre s\u00ed.<\/p>\n
\u201cTenemos un equipo excelente y el equipo definitivamente estar\u00e1 listo para el domingo\u201d, dijo el entrenador en jefe de los San Diego Strikers, Ray Taila.<\/p>\n
Entonces, Cal Union FC se estableci\u00f3 en 2016 y su juego inaugural en la WPSL se produjo dos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s. El equipo est\u00e1 compuesto por jugadores de alto nivel que compiten a nivel universitario en todo el pa\u00eds con varios ex jugadores de So Cal Union FC que anteriormente compitieron profesionalmente en Dinamarca, Islandia, Espa\u00f1a, Australia, Puerto Rico y a nivel nacional.<\/p>\n
Algunos tambi\u00e9n han representado a sus respectivos programas de selecciones nacionales, como Estados Unidos, M\u00e9xico, Puerto Rico, Filipinas, Canad\u00e1 y otros pa\u00edses. Esta es la cuarta temporada en la que So Cal Union FC compite en la WPSL, incluidos 2018, 2019 y 2021, perdiendo solo un partido en casa hasta ahora como miembro de la liga en ese lapso.<\/p>\n
