La Comisi\u00f3n de Relaciones Humanas de la Ciudad de San Diego (HRC, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) anunci\u00f3 recientemente los ganadores de sus premios anuales, que reconocen a las personas y grupos que han realizado contribuciones sobresalientes a la paz, la justicia social y los derechos humanos y civiles en San Diego.<\/p>\n
El ganador del Premio a la Diversidad Empresarial es The Arc of San Diego, una organizaci\u00f3n que apoya y empodera a las personas con discapacidades para que logren sus metas en la vida. Este negocio se destaca por su enfoque en la diversidad y la inclusi\u00f3n, como lo demuestra su liderazgo e iniciativas comunitarias.<\/p>\n
El concejal de la ciudad de San Diego, Ra\u00fal Campillo, y Alex Villafuerte, de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Negocios Asi\u00e1ticos de San Diego, recibir\u00e1n el Premio al Socio de la Comisi\u00f3n por sus asociaciones y su apoyo a la HRC. Han sido fundamentales para lograr un cambio positivo en la comunidad y han trabajado de cerca con el HRC durante todo el a\u00f1o en temas prioritarios.<\/p>\n
El premio Keith M. Turnham se entregar\u00e1 a Rafael Monroy, un capacitador y entrenador certificado por RJMP\/IIRP en pr\u00e1cticas restaurativas con el Centro Nacional de Resoluci\u00f3n de Conflictos. Este premio lleva el nombre del excomisionado de Relaciones Humanas Keith M. Turnham y se presenta a un veterano que ejemplifica el servicio p\u00fablico y comunitario en San Diego.<\/p>\n
