Two men have pleaded guilty to burglarizing an elderly La Jolla widow\u2019s residence while she was home and stealing assorted jewelry including a necklace that her husband had given her, four flat-screen televisions, $800 in cash and a 16-piece silverware set. Justin Jeffrey Naranjo, 27, and Joe Luis Delgado, 19, will each face up to seven years in prison when they are sentenced in February, according to court records. Naranjo will be sentenced Feb. 9 and Delgado on Feb. 29 in San Diego Superior Court. They remain in jail on $250,000 bail each. They live in Highland, Calif. and are suspected of burglarizing other residences in that area. Both men admitted Dec. 9 to committing a “hot prowl” burglary when the occupant was home, entering the residence through open kitchen windows. The 82-year-old woman was shaken but uninjured in the July 13 incident. Police took DNA swabs in the residence and got a hit that matched Delgado.
