Happy to hear that the CVS corporation, the largest pharmacy chain in the U.S., is going to set up shop here in Ocean Beach. Good to know they will bringing a bunch of minimum wage, dead-end jobs with no benefits or future. Since they won\u2019t be able to live in Ocean Beach, [employees] will probably be taking their nice paycheck to Vista or Escondido to enjoy themselves. The revenue will go to [CVS] offices in the tax haven of Delaware and the profits to some swell shareholders in Rhode Island. \u00a0
\nHopefully, they will be given some nice tax breaks by the city so they can help us stimulate the local economy.
\nI\u2019m glad I will now have the choice to buy low-quality, non-perishable junk food, plastic Chinese goods and marked-up toiletries either at Rite Aid or CVS.
