The adult male sea lion was rescued after he crawled onto a narrow stretch of beach on Shelter Island, according to a SeaWorld Statement released Friday. The sea lion is estimated to be between 5 and 10 years old. He weighs approximately 425 pounds and is 7-feet-long.
